The “Mountains“ landscape is a landscape found in the Eastern part of Greenland. Some parts of the glacier is covered with newly fallen snow, appear pure white and look soft. The blueish and grey ice is where the densely pressed glacial ice is visible. At the middle right side of the landcape, melting ice blocks heading towards sea can be seen against the dark backdrop of the Atlantic oceans.
The landscape appears abstract and may have been composed by a painter if not being another modest piece of geological artwork by the forces of nature.
ABOUT THE PROJECT:
“Geosperical Landscapes” is a landscape project by Wild Things where planet Earth is viewed through the eyes of a satellite. The images show the impact human kind has on the landscapes surrounding us as well as the impact landscapes have on us. The landscapes also serve as a time capsule of how the ever-changing landscape and human structures looked at this time in history.
