The Cityfod Sculpture was designed especially for Cityfod, a foot therapist clinic in Copenhagen. Said, the foot therapist wanted a sculpture that could add something completely unique whilst giving the customers something beautiful to look at while having their treatment.
We were inspired by old medicine boards and an old book about the human anatomy. The sculpture shows the bones of a foot from three angles and has the Danish/German latin names of the foot engraved into it. The idea is that the foot therapist can actively use the sculpture to point out the focus area to the client.
We think the lasercut wood works especially well with the anatomical theme of bones joinery. The layers creates an effect of depth and change as you move around the sculpture.
